Designed for a growing family in mind, the client, a young couple took on the role of owner builder and had very specific ideas about how the house would look and be laid out. The brief was to express the aesthetic of a contemporary ‘story book’ type house, with gables, dormer windows and verandahs. Whilst situated on a relatively modest sized block the house provided a large amount of space for the family. Rising over two storeys the design features a large living area with a soaring cathedral ceiling, a library and large wrap around entertaining deck to the rear.
