Designed for a young family, this dwelling is located in the fast emerging Bayview Estate on the edge of the seaside village of St.Leonards on the Bellarine Peninsula. The client had their specific requirements as to the plan layout and the estate developer was governed by specific planning constraints as to materiality, making the design a successful amalgam of inspirations. The resultant dwelling sources material references from the beach environs with the use of Victorian sourced limestone, stained timber elements and a bright light pastel pallete of bricks and roofing comfortable in their seaside setting. The house is due for construction in 2022.
