As part of a program of ongoing renewal and upgrade works, the City Of Greater Geelong (COOG) undertook to demolish an existing old and inapropriate toilet facility and replace it with a new accessibilty compliant gender neutral toilet facility within the boundary of Bakers Reserve in Herne Hill servicing the users of the public reserve. The design was in response to Council’s initiative for greater standardisation of design and materiality across all Council’s amenities, to provide the public with clean, safe and equitable toilet facilities.
